KISHOREGANJ: The rail communications on Kishoreganj-Bhairab-Mymensingh route resumed on Wednesday night after 11 hours halted.

Kishoreganj Station Master Joyanta Kumar Saha told banglanews: “Wheels of a wagon of the Mymensingh-bound train veered-off the tracks in Ekrampur area around 09:30am.”

Later, the rail link resumed as a rescue train rushed to the spot from Mymensingh to clear the rail line.

Earlier in the day, a local train derailed near Kishoreganj rail station and halted the movement of trains.
