KISHOREGANJ: President Abdul Hamid was accorded mass reception at a programme on Itna College ground of the district on Wednesday.

In the programme, Abdul Hamid said all political parties have to work unitedly for the greater welfare of the country as well as the nation.

The President said, “I am elected President of the country in a tough time. Several political incidents are incessantly shaking us. Pray for me so that I can perform my duty properly.”

People of all walks of life of the upazila including children thronged the venue to see the President at a glance.

This is the first visit of Abdul Hamid in his constituency after sworn in as President.
