SIRAJGANJ: At least 20 people were injured in clash between two villagers in Sirajganj municipality area on Thursday.

Sources said people of Diardhangara and Bhangabari village locked into a fierce clash in the noon over a trifle matter, leaving at least 20 people from both sides injured.

The injured were admitted to various clinics in the town.

Police open fired around 50 round tear-gas shell and rubber bullets to bring the situation under control.

Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Thana Habibul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews. “The situation is now under control,” he said.
