Dhaka: Miscreants attempted to kill Liberation War Museum Trustee Dr Sarwar Ali at his Uttara residence in capital on Sunday (Jan 05) night.

Sarwar Ali, also Executive President of Chhayanat and Chairman of BIRDEM’s board of management disclosed the information on Tuesday (Jan 07).

The freedom fighter and also the organizer of Liberation War escaped the murder attempt as his neighbours rushed in, he added.

Sarwar Ali filed a case against 4-5 persons including security guard Hassan and former car driver Nazmul in this regard on Monday (Jan 06). 

Uttara west police station OC Tapan Chandra Saha confirmed the matter and told Banglanews that security guard Hassan was arrested for quizzing in the case.
