8-day remand for 2 ICT staff

DHAKA: A Dhaka court on Saturday placed an eight-day remand to Nayan Ali and Faruk, who were arrested in connection with leaking verdict of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) against Salauddin Quader Chowdhury.

Dhaka metropolitan Magistrate MA Salam passed the order as Detective Branch Inspector M Shahajahan produced before the country with a 10-day remand plea.

Nayon Ali and Faruk Hossain, office assistants at the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 were accused for their alleged involvement in much-talked-about verdict leak.
