DHAKA: Wife of a RAB official was killed in a road accident at city’s Kamalapur area on Saturday morning.

The deceased was identified as Tanjina Begum 30, wife of Abu Saeed hailed from Shirajganj.

Abu Saeed said that the accident happened while they were going to Kamlapur Bus stand to go their home Sirajganj to observe Eid-ul-Azha. Suddenly a rashly driven passenger bus rammed their rickshaw, leaving Tanjina injured critically.

She was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared her dead.

However he and their only daughter Sadia Sithi had a narrow escape.
