BAGERHAT: Five fishermen were rescued after a gunfight between coast guard and the gang of robbers in Khajuria Char area of the district on Saturday morning.

Coast Guard source said that the law enforcers, in an hour long dive, also recovered two guns, two LG guns and around 200 rounds of bullet from the spot.

However the law enforcers rescued the fishermen, who were abducted for ransom.

Coast Guard Detective official Manirul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
