Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan on Saturday condoled the death of renowned lawyer Barrister Rafique-ul-Huq.

In a message, the Bashundhara Group Chairman expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of the noted lawyer.

The demise of Barrister Rafiq-ul caused an irreparable loss to the country, he also said.

Ahmed Akbar Sobhan prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed souls and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family members.

Meanwhile, Barrister Rafique-ul-Huq breathed his last on Saturday morning while undergoing treatment in ICU in Ad-Deen Hospital in Dhaka. He was 85.
