Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal has intended to receive Coronavirus or Covid-19 vaccine brought from India first.

He came up with this information while talking to journalist after holding a meeting virtually on Thursday.   

The finance minister said, “I will receive vaccine first of all. Vaccine is essential for me as I am an aged person.”   

Earlier in the day, India handed over two million doses of COVID-19 vaccines to Bangladesh as gift. 

Indian high commissioner to Bangladesh Vikram Doraiswami handed over the vaccines to foreign minister AK Abdul Momen at a programme at the foreign ministry in the afternoon.
