A Dhaka court on Monday placed model Mariam Akter Mou on a three-day remand in a case filed under Narcotics Control Act.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Ashek Imam granted remand for Mou, court sources said.

Earlier, police produced her before the CMM court and sought 10 days' remand for her in the cases.

Detectives arrested Mou from her Mohammadpur residence in the capital on Sunday night.

They also seized huge liquor from her residence.
