The two-day 'STS simulation training course’, first of its kind in Bangladesh, concluded at Bangladesh Marine Academy in Anwara upazila of Chattogram on Thursday.

Bashundhara Group, the country's largest industrial conglomerate, and Exmar Shipmanagement bv (Belgium) jointly organised the course for master mariners.

A number of master mariners from Bangladesh participated in the course.
Managing Director of India's Pace Marine Solutions Pvt Limited Captain Pawan Kumar Gupta, Chief Operating Officer Saurabh Kumar and Exmar Shipmanagement Marine and STS Superintendent Captain Adarsha Agarwal conducted the course at the academy’s simulation centre.

Academy Commandant Sajid Hussain, Bashundhara  Ship and Logistics Chief Operating Officer Captain Ruhul Amin and  Bashundhara LP Gas Ltd General Manager (International Shipping) Engineer Mahmud Naser attended the certificate distribution ceremony among others.
