Two children drowned in a pond in Sirajganj. The incident took place around noon on Friday (May 20) at Char Khokshabari village in Khokshabari union of Sadar upazila of the district.

The deceased were identified as Mohammad's son Mahin (6) and Korban Ali's son Tamim (7).

Khokshabari Union Parishad member (UP member) Serajul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews24.
