FROM LONDON: President Abdul Hamid was accorded a mass reception by Bangladeshi expatriate in London on Wednesday evening (London Time).
The reception giving programme was held at Westminster central hall in the capital of United Kingdom with Eminent journalist and litterateur Abdul Gaffar Chawdhury in the chair.
With the cordial reception the president became emotional and said that because of his protocol he can not talk frankly and communicate with the people easily.
The program began through recitation from holy Quran, Geeta, Bible and Tripitaka.
Later, a commendation was handed over to the President from Bangladeshi expatriate.

Earlier on Monday, President arrived in London on a three-day official tour to attend the ninth World Islamic Economic Forum (WIFE) annual conference.
