DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has urged opposition BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir to sit in dialogue in general secretary level.
The Awami League president came up with the plea while exchanging greetings with Fakhrul at Senakunja on the occasion of ‘Armed Forces Day’ on Thursday.
In response to Hasina’s urge, the BNP spokesperson said if government takes initiative, opposition BNP will respond.
A delegation of BNP joined at the Senakunja function as Khaleda Zia did not attend the programme.
