DHAKA: Opposition BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir opined that that election commissioners has forgotten their oath of holding neutral polls.

The BNP leader came up with the assertion while addressing an event to unveil a book titled ‘The political thought of Tarique Rahman’ at a city hotel on Saturday evening.

Fakhrul said: “The election commissioners committed to craft a level playing field by Election Commission for free and fair election but no progress is being so far.”

He added: “They were following order the government instead of responsibilities.”

Senior BNP leaders and eminent educationists were also attended the programme.
