RAJSHAHI: Law enforcing agency personnel filed a lawsuit against 400 city BNP leaders and activists with Boalia Model Thana on Wednesday on the charge of attacking police and obstructing them from discharging duties.

Sub-Inspector of the thana Golam Rabbani filed the lawsuit, mentioning 35 names, including general secretary of Boalia Thana BNP Shafiqul Islam Shafique.

Officer-in-Charge of Boalia Thana Ziaur Rahman confirmed the matter.

On the second day (Wednesday) of countrywide blockade enforced by BNP-led 18-party, 30 leaders and activists of 18-party, including the Rajshahi City Corporation Mayor Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul and four cops, were injured in a clash with police.
