MA Latif throws challenge to Amir Khasru

Awami League (AL) lawmaker MA Latif alleged that BNP leader Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury has no connection with the people of Chattogram constituency 11.

He made the remark during a short rally organised by ''Swadhinota Nari Shakti'' on Monday (May 29).

Abdul Latif said: "Amir Khasru is plotting against Bangabandhu's daughter, the Bengali nation, and above all the interests of the people of Bangladesh."

"I want to tell him - let's compete in the election. People in this constituency are waiting to see you," he said.

He also said: "Today, our mother and sister have come out of our house. Jamaat-Shibir and BNP leaders are chanting slogans. They do not believe in Bangladesh's independence.
