DHAKA: Opposition BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has alleged that the government made people confused by saying talks.

The spokesperson for the party came up with the allegation in a statement on Tuesday in the fourth day of blockade called by BNP-led 18-party alliance.

In the statement, he said, “The election commission has to postpone the announced schedule of the polls for resolving the prevailing political crisis and the government should arrange elections under non-partisan government.”
