Two local leaders of BNP picked up by detectives from their Bogura homes were shown arrested today (July 19).

They are Bugura district BNP's General secretary Ali Azgar Talukder Hena and Swechchhasebak Dal's former convener Mazedur Rahman Jewel.

Earlier, a team of DB police picked up the leaders from their respective homes around 3am.
 
District Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Sharafat Islam confirmed the matter.

He said that two people were arrested.

Arrested two were accused of three cases and involved directly in the attack on police, he said, adding they will be produced in court after interrogation.
