FARIDPUR: Police in several drives held 44 Jamaat-Shibir men from various spots of the district on Friday morning apprehending subversive act.

The identity of the detainees could not be known immediately.

Assistant Police Super Kamruzzaman confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Earlier on Thursday night, War Crimes convict Abdul Quader Mollah was executed at 10:01pm for his involvement in crime against humanity during 1971.
