RASHAHI: Jamaat-Shibir activists set fire to the house of Rajshahi district administrator Mahbub Jaman blasting petrol bombs at around 8:15pm Friday.

Witnesses said that some Jamaat-Shibir activists hurled 4/5 petrol bombs at Mahbub Jaman’s house, which engulfed three rooms.

On information, fire fighting team rushed to the spot and doused the fire in a half-an hour long frantic effort.

Boalia Thana Officer-In-Charge Ziaur Rahman Zia confirmed the matter to banglanews.
