BNP started a rally in front of their central office in the capital's Nayapaltan on Friday (September 15) afternoon as part of their one-point demand for the resignation of the AL government and holding the polls under a non-party caretaker government.

The rally in being held jointly by Dhaka metropolitan north and south unit BNP in front of the party's central office at Nayapaltan from 3:00pm.

The leaders and activists of the two units and its affiliates participate in the rally with banners and festoons and also chanted various anti-government slogans.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, the chief guest of the rally, joined the programme along with other central leaders of the party.

Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP convener Abdus Salam will chair the rally and North member secretary Aminul Haque will moderate it.
