BNP started a rally in the capital's Gabtoli demanding the resignation of the government, the establishment of a non-partisan government, and the release of political leaders and activists including Khaleda Zia.

The rally started around 3:00pm today (September 27) with a recitation from the Holy Quran.

The party leaders, supporters and activists had already arrived at the rally venue, wearing colourful caps, carrying placards and posters, and chanting anti-government slogans.

Dhaka City North BNP, organizes the rally and BNP standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan was present as a special guest at the venue.

On the other hand, BNP rally in Narayanganj's Singboard area began around 3:00pm today.

The chief guest of the programme and BNP's standing committee member Abdul Moyeen Khan arrived at the rally venue.
