CHITTAGONG: Members of Border Guard Bangladesh, Police and Ansar, in a drive, nabbed 20 activists of Chhatra Shibir, the student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami, from different areas of Sitakunda upazila of the district on Tuesday night.

 Confirming the matter, BGB battalion-28 Operation Officer Major Walid told banglanews that Joint force conducted drive simultaneously in adjacent areas of  International Islamic University, Barobkunda and Banshbaria areas of the upazila and picked up 20 Shibir activists for their allege involvement in different subversive acts.

Later, the detainees were handed over to Sitakunda Thana.
