DHAKA: Security measures have been beefed up surrounding the Supreme Court (SC) and National Press Club areas on Monday morning centering the BNP’s program ‘March for Democracy’.

The main gate and gate beside bar council remained closed for security reason.

Every suspected person is being allowed to enter the area after searching at Mazar gate.

Additional law enforcers were deployed in the area to avoid any untoward situation like Sunday.

Besides, law enforcers took alert position in front of national press club following rallies of pro-government and pro-BNP men.

Ramna Zone Assistant Police Commissioner Shibli Noman confirmed the matters to banglanews.
