DHAKA: Pro-18-party alliance lawyers and Juba Mahila League activists locked into clash in the Supreme Court (SC) on Monday.

Sources said that pro-18-party alliance lawyers brought out a procession inside the court at around 11:30am and Mahila League activists took position in front of the court gate.

During the time, the both group hurled brick chips each other.

Later, a stick procession of Juba League joined the violence and tried to break the gate.

Meanwhile, water canon was seen standby in the area to avoid any untoward situation.

Later, protesting the attack on lawyers, Supreme Court Lawyers Association arranged a press conference.
