DHAKA: Alan Berry, South Asia Bureau Chief and Political Editor of US based The New York Times, met BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia at her residence for an interview on Monday night.

Earlier, German Ambassador to Bangladesh Albrecht Conze had an hour-long meeting with BNP chief.

Berry was barred to meet with Khaleda Zia in a scheduled meeting just a day before the 10th parliamentary polls on Saturday.
