CHITTAGONG: Miscreants stabbed an activist Juba League, the youth wing of Awami League, to death in Kanchona Adarsha Gram area under Satkania upazila of the district on Wednesday morning.

The deceased was identified as M Alamgir, 33, son of one Nurul Islam, hailed from Dolu Bridge area of the upazila.

Confirming the matter, Officer-in-Charge of Satkania Thana Khaled Hossain told banglanews that they suspected Chhatra Shibir men involved in the murder.

Declining the allegation, publicity secretary of district Chhatra Shibir (south) Azad Chowdhury told banglanews that Alamgir was killed in an infighting of Awami League.
