Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif today (June 28) said opposing India's railway network through Bangladesh will not bring any benefit to the country.

He said while responding to queries made by journalists at his PTI road residence in Kushtia this morning.

Hanif said: "The BNP leaders' opposition to develop railway network by India through Bangladesh will not bring any benefit to the country." 

“Many countries across the world have such connectivity and it is nothing new, adding that modernization and development of communication systems are the main driving force for the economic development of a country,” he said.
