DHAKA: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) decided to investigate wealth acquired by former lawmaker also BNP leader Shahiduddin Choudhwry Anny following the allegations of illegal assets.
The anti-graft watchdog decided to quiz BNP leader in a regular meeting on Sunday.
ACC deputy director Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the matter to banglanews.
He said, “The commission will also investigate wealth record of another three people along with Anny.”
The other accused are former lawmaker of Khulna-5 constituency also Jamaat leader Mia Golam Parwar and bussinman Rejabudaulah.
On January 22, the ACC decided to investigate for having illegal wealth of seven former, existing ministers and lawmakers.
