DHAKA: US Ambassador to Dhaka Dan W Mozena met with BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan office on Tuesday night.

The meeting started around 8:30pm.

BNP sources saidn during the parley, they discussed several issues, including prevailing political situation.

Vice-chairman of the party Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury, advisor to BNP chairperson Riaz Rahman along with other senior leaders of the party were present on the occasion.

This is the first meeting of the US diplomat with the BNP chief after the January 5 national polls.
