DHAKA: Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad, also ex-President of the country, categorically said that his party is passing through a period of internal crisis.

He came up with the assertion when addressing a view exchange meeting with Jatiya Party leaders at Gulshan Immanuel Community Center in city on Wednesday noon.

HM Ershad said, “Election has done. I don’t want to say anything more. Jatiya Party will be there where people will cast their vote.”

He also said, “Some 30 members of parliament (MPs) of us did not join the view-exchange meeting. Are they not Jatiya Party’s MPs?”

Targeting those 30 MPs, Ershad said, “Come back otherwise you all will be thrown to trash bin.”
