The suspension of BNP Organizing Secretary for Faridpur Division, Shama Obaid, has been lifted. 

The decision was disclosed through a press release issued by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Sunday (Nov 10).

Shama, is also seeking BNP nomination for the Faridpur-2 (Saltha-Nagarkanda) seat.

The press release stated, “On August 21, 2024, your roles within BNP at all levels were suspended due to allegations of creating conflict and disorder in Nagarkanda upazila, Faridpur. However, the suspension has been lifted as per high command decision. You are strictly warned to avoid any recurrence of such incidents. The party expects you to uphold its policies, maintain discipline, and fulfill your responsibilities with dedication.”
