DHAKA: BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir denounced the arrest of Jessore’s Chougachha upazila BNP general secretary Younus Akand and Rajshahi’s Charghat upazila JSSS president Mozaffor Hossain.  

A press statement signed by Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on behalf of Fakhrul made the denouncement on Thursday.   

The spokesperson of the party alleged country’s people became unbearable by the ruling illegal government.

He also alleged government arrested Younus Akand and Mozaffor Hossain illegally.   

Fakhrul demanded immediate release of the two BNP leaders.
