DHAKA: BNP standing committee member Brig Gen (retd) ASM Hannan Shah opined that people replied the government through ballot papers on Wednesday’s upazila elections.                            

He came up with the observation while addressing a discussion at Jatiya Press Club hall on Thursday as a chief guest.    

Hannan Shah complained that the administration was used in the upazila elections, otherwise; Awami League would not get even 10-12 percent votes.   

The senior leader also said strengthening root level Khaleda Zia will reply the government.   

Khaleda Zia`s Advisor Shamsuzzaman Dudu, BNP joint Secretary General Barkatullah Bulu, Juba Dal Senior Vice-President Abdus Salam Azad, among other, were present in the discussion.
