RANGPUR: Bangladesh Chhatra League leader of Begum Rokeya University unit was expelled for violating rules and regulation of the party.

The BCL leader is Senior Vice President Hadiuzzaman Hadi.

President Mehedi Hasan and General Secretary Mostafa Mahmud Hasan confirmed the matter to banglanews. “Legal actions will be taken against him,” Mehedi said.

He alleged that, on February 19, Hadi destroyed some documents and files of the university on the issue of not being recruited his candidate.

He added it violated the regulation of the organization.

However, Hadi, fourth-year student of Computer Science and Engineering of the University Hadi, was accused of throwing acid to some of the faculty members of University Anti-Corruption Stage on January 10 last year.
