The Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) organised a 'March for Justice' today at Central Shaheed Minar, demanding accountability for the Bangladesh Chhatra League's (BCL) terrorist activities and a swift trial of those accused from the banned student group.

Leaders and activists gathered around 2:00 pm, highlighting the slow progress of investigations into the July-August violence. Despite the formation of investigation committees at various campuses, the reports have not been submitted even after five and a half months.

Rakibul Islam Rakib, JCD's central president, emphasised that the delay in the trial process allows the accused to evade punishment. He urged for the immediate resumption of the proceedings to ensure justice is served.
