BHOLA: Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal has called half-day shutdown in Sadar upazilla of the district for Monday protesting the arrest of its leader Kabir Hossain.
Assistant Secretary of central committee Tariqul Islam Kayed made the announcement on Sunday noon.
Besides, activists brought out a protest procession supporting hartal on Sadar road in the district town.
Tariqul Islam Kayed said that police arrested Kabir Hossain on from Mollar Potti of the town 12 noon Sunday.
Demanding immediate release of the leader, the strike has been declared, he added.
