DHAKA: The meeting of standing committee of BNP held at Chairperson’s Gulshan political office on Sunday night.   

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia presided over the meeting.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Mirza Abbas, Barrister Rafiqul Islam Mia, Muhammad Jamiruddin Sircar, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Begum Sarwari Rahman and Barrister Mahbubur Rahman were among others present at the meeting.

Party sources said many important issues, including party’s upcoming council and anti-government movement were discussed in the meeting.
