CHUADANGA: The 19-party called half-day hartal Sadar and Alamdanga upazilas of the district for Tuesday boycotting upazila polls and demanding fresh elections.
Joint general secretary of district BNP Advocate Waheduzzaman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
Earlier in the day, three chairmen aspirants-backed by BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami, boycotted polls bringing allegation of casting fake votes, occupying polling centres and ousting BNP-backed candidate’s polling agents.
