TANGAIL: A half-day hartal, enforced by Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal observed in the municipal area of the district.

The hartal was enforced after miscreants shot Sramik Dal district Organizing Secretary Golam Azam. Azam, son of Afaz Uddin, used to live at Bil Gharinda village in Sadar upazila.

Leaders-activists of Sramik Dal led-by its district unit general secretary AKM Monirul Haque brought out a procession from Victoria of the town at 8:30am in support of hartal.       

The party leaders and activists, however, staged demonstration protesting the killing incident and supporting hartal in the area on Tuesday evening.
