DHAKA: The long march called by Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) towards Teesta will start from Airport Square on Tuesday.
BNP Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the announcement at a press conference at party’s Nayapaltan office on Monday.
He said the long march programme will begin from Airport Square instead of Nayapaltan to avoid traffic congestion.
The long march will start from 8:00am and Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has been informed about it, he added.
BNP announced a two-day long march of April 22 and 23 to the Teesta River demanding fair sharing of its water between Bangladesh and India.
