DHAKA: The ruling 14-party alliance has called BNP’s long-march towards Teesta a “car march”.
The alliance leaders in a meeting Tuesday said that BNP want to create anarchy in the name of the program and warned tougher consequences.
“While in power, BNP did nothing in ensuring due share of Teesta river,” said 14-party coordinator Mohammad Nasim, who is also the Health Minister.
He said that the government is optimistic about a fruitful solution once a new government is elected in India following the ongoing elections.
“But, there is nothing to do politics with the issue,” said Mohammad Nasim.
The 14-party alliance accused BNP of anarchy and conspiracy to foil the trial of war criminals and announced fresh programs of public meetings in Khulna on April 26, Savar April 27 and in Mymensing on April 28.
