DHAKA: Jammat-e-Islam greeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Narendra Modi as his party won the 16th ‘Lok Sabha’, the national parliament of India, with absolute majority. 

The party Acting Ameer Makbul Ahammad in a press release on Friday came up with the disclosure. 

The Jammat leader in the statement said that his party wants to maintain a friendly relation with the neighbouring country.

Makbul Ahmed said, “I hope the NDA alliance led by Modi will form the government and under the leadership of Narendra Modi the country will run based on communal harmony and democratic values.”
