DHAKA: BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fahkrul Islam on Saturday said his party is taking preparation altogether for reorganizing the party, the national election and the street movement.
Fahkrul was talking to the journalists after visiting ailing Shamsusddin Didar, a member of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s media wing, at Delta Health Care Hospital in capitla’s Mirpur area.
The BNP leader said, “People did not accept the January 5 polls, so we demand fresh national polls under the caretaker government.”
The incumbent government is detached from the people of the country. Criticizes of some ruling party men about BNP’s movement are exposure of their disappointment, Fakhrul added.
Didar was admitted at the hospital after he was injured in a road accident on June 30.
