DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that the speech of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban press briefing is indecent and offensive.
The BNP leader on Saturday made the comment at a press conference at BNP chairperson’s Gulshan political office protesting Friday’s PM speech.
He said that people do not expect such kind of indecent speech from the premier. People of the new generation will learn this kind of indecency from her.
He also termed the PM’s speech impolite.
According to the BNP leader, PM’s speech on recently held SAARC summit and her latest visit to Malaysia is full of falsehood.
The PM has made lies on diplomatic issues, Fakhrul commented.
Moreover, the BNP leader also criticized ruling Awami League’s general secretary and also local government, rural development and cooperatives minister Syed Ashraful Islam’s speech.
