NARAYANGANJ: Disaster Management and Relief Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya on Tuesday categorically said BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia would be sued for all petrol-bomb attacks across the country.
The minister came up with the assertion while addressing a freshers’ reception program at Safar Ali Degree College at Araihazar upazila in the district.
He said, “She (Khaleda) will be the accused of all petrol-bomb attacks, wherever these kill people in Bangladesh.”
Terming the BNP chief ‘hypocrite’, Maya added that she is staying at her office in stead of home for an eye-wash.
Regarding national elections, he said, “No election will be arranged before 2019.”
Member of Parliament (MP) Nazrul Islam Babu, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Shamsul Haque, Upazila Chairman and Awami League president Shahjalal Mia were among others present at the program.
The function was presided over by the college Principal Professor Kalam Mahmud.
