DHAKA: Detective Branch (DB) of Police held BNP information and research affairs secretary Habibur Rahman Habib from city’s Tejgaon area at the wee hours of Tuesday.

BNP sources said that a team of DB police held the BNP leader in front of a private TV channel in the area around 12:15am.

Habib participated in a talk show moments earlier of his detention.

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Press Wing member Shamsuddin Didar confirmed the matter to banglanews.
