DHAKA: Islami Chhatra Shibir, the student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami has called a dawn-to-dusk shutdown across the country for Sunday.

The hartal was enforced protesting ‘killing, forced disappearance, vandalizing houses, arresting of the party people’.

Shibir president Abdul Jabbar and its secretary Atikur Rahman on Friday announced of the nationwide hartal.

A press release, signed by Shibir’s central publicity secretary Monir Ahmed, confirmed the matter.
