Shamsher, Dudu on fresh remand Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury

DHAKA: Two Dhaka courts on Sunday granted four-day remand to Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury, vice-chairman of BNP and Shamsuzzaman Dudu, adviser to BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrates Jahangir Hossain and Hasibul Haque passed the orders in respective courts in this noon.

Chawk Bazar Thana officer-in-Charge (investigation) M Ilias produced Shamsher Mobin before the court with a 7-day remand plea.

On the other hand, Rupnagar Thana police sought a 10-remand order to Shamsuzzaman Dudu.

Shamsher and Dudu were granted remand for police interrogation in two separate vandalism cases in the capital.

Earlier, Dudu was placed on an 11-day remand in three cases while Shamsher Mobin on a five-day remand.
